Context
2017 was a funny year, is it not? With all the political scandals of those times, an european news magazine called me to design a series of images to illustrate their articles.
Problem
How to articulate better a news thru design? The brief wasn’t exactly too informative to be honest. I was asked to create two set of images. One “presidential” and another to express my thoughts on Brexit.
Solution
I had green light to make whatever I want, completely creative freedom. I came up with an series of portraits in a 8-bit style and 2 posters for Brexit.
Final words
From a latin american perspective, I always thought how funny was the over simplification of these complex characters and topics.
Living in a connected and globalised world allowed me to bring my own voice on this subjects that happen miles away from my home. Internet is amazing.
